Something to share in every single week throughout the year

Week 41 – Get Ready

I and my boyfriend have been talking about to go camping for a long time, but never quite to take it seriously and to make it happen. Today, we finally bought a tent and other gear. We are ready to camp! πŸ˜€

Anyway, do you like camping?

  1. I’ve managed to avoid camping my entire life but, my wife and my kids would love to go… so, I’m not sure for how much longer I can avoid it. I did camp once, I created a tent out of sheets and chairs with the kids… πŸ˜€

    • HeeHeeHee πŸ˜€ I’ve been avoiding it and disliking it when I was in high school time, cause I couldn’t stand with sleeping on the hard ground at night imagining those bugs and insects crawling in my tent then my skin > u < wahhhhh awful!
But now I would like to go because of stargazing ^^

    • HeeHee πŸ˜€ Someday in the future, I would love to go to Nagano to camp overnight. I’ve seen some beautiful photos of the night sky of Nagano taken by a Japanese photographer, and those pictures make me really excited and I would love to visit it someday πŸ˜€

  3. Not really… I’m more a comfortable hotel/motel girl, though I’m sure it would be fun for many..! πŸ˜‰

    • To be honest with you, I’d prefer hotel/motel more than a tent! Cause I need a private bathroom more than anything πŸ˜€

  4. Now that you have gear, are you sure that’s gonna make you go?

Some people don’t find having gear motivating enough. XD

  5. I camped with my parents when I was still living at home. Long time ago, now. After I left home they bought a camper — I think I might have liked that better than the tent we used to use. Camping was fun, but I didn’t have to do the hard work — the cooking, etc., then. πŸ™‚

    • Sleep in a camper is much more comfortable! I can’t drive, neither my boyfriend, he only has a motorcycle license, so the only choice would be… a tent. πŸ˜€

  6. Also never been.
Hope you guys practice setting up and taking down the tent a bunch of times, so if it’s windy or wet, you can get it set up with no problem!

    • We’ve spent more than half an hour to set it up. I hope we will be fine . . . and not waking up somewhere else …

  7. I like some parts of camping…
particularly spending time with my wife who LOVES to go camping. The weather and restroom facilities are usually much nicer in my apartment, though.
