Week 8 – Madonna Rebel Heart in Macau
There were songs that my father used to like to listen to while babysitting me. Among them were Madonna’s songs. That made me how I used to like Madonna very much when I was a little girl. I used to decor my bedroom with Madonna posters and listen to her songs frequently, and I sometimes (my mom told me that later) even brought her picture along with me when my parents take me out to play. I once asked my mother to take me to salon to make my hair look like Madonna’s hairstyle. I can’t believe that my mother approved that and really took me to salon to fulfill my little wish. Now, when I think back, it was lucky that she only approved me curling my hair but not dying it to blonde. Otherwise, I would be looked too funny. Heehee. Those were childhood days…It seemed that I was her fan in long time ago.
Today, Madonna is here! She is performing live in Macau! This is a chance to see her live show. How could I miss it? I must go! I must go to the concert! Although I don’t have that “fan” feeling anymore, but it would be nice to take this chance to see her live concert. Right?
Week 33 – Linkin Park
Linkin Park, Linkin Park, I love you!
I love them so much. I love them since 2004…almost 10 years…XD
The show was super awesome that night, on August 15! I have to say that no matter how Linkin Park change the style of music, and no matter what they sing, to me, everything from them is just GREAT! 😀
They are my beloved band that I ever adore, and I just can’t wait for another second to share the best of my photos taken at the show with you here!

Week 4 РH̩l̬ne Grimaud Piano Recital
Music is like food to the soul. Tonight, I am at the CCM’s Grand Auditorium waiting for the piano recital by Hélène Grimaud. While I’m still waiting for the performance, I read through the pages of the recital program and learn that Hélène Grimaud will play Mozart, Berg, Liszt and Bartók’s piano music in this evening. Since Mozart is my favorite classical musician, I can’t wait to listen to the piano sonata that Hélène Grimaud is going to bring to the audience. 😀

Week 43 – Nighttime (Work In Progress)
Sorry for the late post. I had planned to post this track “Nighttime” at Saturday, but I just couldn’t finish it. I need more time to work on it. 🙂 Right now this is only the first part of the whole track. The rest of it will be out soon…
By the way, I’m going camping tomorrow. I hope the sky will be clear at night, so that I can come back with images of the starry night sky. 😀

Week 39 – Leaving
I was having this strange feeling of “leaving something behind” when I was making this track. Maybe I was subconsciously wanting to let go of something. An habit, a dream or a situation. I’m not sure about that, but whatever it is, I’m sure that is for the best, and this track helps express that inner feeling I have.

Week 30 – Trapped Beautifully In A Dream
The music track describes a person who indulges in the surreal images and sensations in the dreamland. He is completely lost and he doesn’t know he is dreaming. As everything in the dream world looks so beautiful, tempting and quite real, he even resist to believe that it is just a dream and not real. After a while, when this person is becoming lucid, he starts to feel there is something wrong with the world he is being trapped in. He is aware that he is dreaming. Then, all he wants to do is to wake up. He struggles. He wakes up, and wakes up, but still he is in the dream. His awareness is weak. He falls back in the dream.
Just imagine what would be like if our waking life is also a dream…
Week 26 – A Melody From A Dream
This is a postcard that I received today, sent by my dear little cousin who is having her holiday in Hiroshima. 😀 I’ve never been to Hiroshima. I would like to visit it someday in the future…
Few years ago, I remembered having a dream in which I saw a beautiful angel humming a song in front of the crowd. Years have passed, I couldn’t remember the lyrics, but still remember its melody. Here you go…
Week 21 – When Time Falls Asleep

Sorry for the late post. It has been a very busy week for me. Tons of works at work have been pulling me in every kind of direction. I have to do this, and that, and it feels like the job is never ending. Since the new boss has came in charge, things aren’t quite the same. I wish everything at work could be just as relax and easy as before.

Week 8 – A Love To Remember
I wrote this piano composition about a year ago, as a Valentine’s gift to my love. I named it “A Love To Remember”. I wanted to express a kind of love which is thankful, beautiful and simple, and the feeling of love is like, “The love we shared together will never die, and the flow of love will reach into the space of endlessness.” 😀

Week 4 – Love In The Suitcase
LOVE IN THE SUITCASE
This week I would like to share with you my first home-made musical track which was created with Sibelius (a trial version) in two years ago. My boyfriend and I and a few of our best friends had planed to form a group together to create and launch an Iphone game. Each of us decided the part of the work we most like to do. I was so excited at that moment, and I chose the audio section as part of my work. I began to create sound and wrote some melodies for the game we were going to build. Few months later, a core member of the group was no longer available to continue the project due to personal issues. The project faded away, and therefore, the plan turned out to be a dream. I was a bit disappointed when I first knew it, but the feeling of disappointment didn’t last long because, on the other hand, they made me realizing that I love creating sound and writing musical pieces! They, indirectly, had helped me to realize that I have found something that I like to do. From that point, I started to build sound and create my own musical tracks. Part of the sound you hear from this track was used to be a melody that I created for the project two years ago. After the project died, I rebuilt it and transformed it into something else that makes me feel. A love piece. I named it as “Love In The Suitcase”, it expresses a love feeling that will not be realized, and the feelings could only be kept hidden deep inside. To me, a suitcase may represent ability and skill that every one needs, or it may represent something valuable to the person who carries it every day, and it is also a place where to keep secret.
